Faster than the fading light
Casts longer shadows
And gives way to night

And dreams disappear
Quick as the wind flows
By and wisps into open doors

Heart of Courage I fought my way through

Everyone is cheering

The Second Movement "Next time I take that kid anywhere, I am putting him on a leash," Dark muttered to himself, kicking at a stick on the ground, "He should know better than to behave like that." He pivoted sharply and continued stalking across the yard. He stopped and sighed in irritation. "Maybe—maybe I should apologize to him. No. No, I won't. I'll talk to him later. Besides, it was his fault for behaving that way." Dark continued pacing.

He hadn't imagined taking care of a kid would be this hard. Well, sure, kids were needy sometimes. Dark had gotten a sense of that from reading books and noticing strangers in public. But Zaen was older. Older kids The Second Movement by *Luna--Rose

Nothing 'Am I better off dead? Should I just let her go?'

She was sitting all alone in her living room, knees curled up to her chest and tissues in hand. Re runs of some old TV show were flickering on the TV, but she wasn't registering any of it. Unwanted tears leaked out of her eyes and soaked into the old couch. 'Why did I do that? How could I have done that?' She thought to herself.

He was stumbling into his local bar, tears threatening his own eyes. His friends greeted him, but then took in his expression—a smile covering something more. They all knew, they were close enough he didn't have to tell him. She had left him. He slumped into a sNothing by ~ERbear26

Just a Kiss Music blasted, bass pumping out of the speakers and sinking deep into the party-goers heads. Bodies danced together, grinding, sweating, and panting. Couples paired off and slowly started to disappear into other rooms—sick noises erupting from within moments later. Strobe lights flickered off perfect white teeth, and dirty laughter filled the air.

She was sitting alone, bored and uncomfortable. Her friend had talked her into coming here. It wasn't her crowd, not really her style. Said friend had disappeared a while ago with her boyfriend—no doubt occupying one of the back rooms.

A Thousand Years He wandered through the streets. It was dim and raining, but it didn't stop him. He was waiting. Waiting for her. He knew she was coming. She always came, and this time he would meet her.

She rushed through the rain, her umbrella shielding her from the downpour. Why must she have her habits? She always needed a cup of coffee from a specific café every day. She shook her head, 'habits are bad for you, don't you know? Now you're probably going to catch a cold.' The temperature was slowly starting to get warmer with the coming spring, but the rain was still like ice.

Happy New Year, everyone!!!

I have recently been made aware of that submissions weren't being allowed to any folder but "Featured". I have fixed that and submissions should go smoothly from here on out. I do, however, ask that you try and place all of your submissions into their designated folders. If you have a specific request for something to be placed in the "Featured" folder, please send the group a note with your reason and I promise to consider it and get back to you as soon as I can.
